I am tired of long winded reviews so I am gonna say that this album is very entertaining. It might not have shot up to #1 but who cares!!!! It is a departure from her first 3 albums in that she is still rocking like a vixen but at least it ain't the same cookie cutter variety... There is really not one song on her that can be classified in the '[bad]' category! I love the songs 'FIGHT IT OUT' 'TELL IT TO HER' 'I'LL DO IT' 'SHADOWS OF THE NIGHT (who doesn't?!), 'ANXIETY-GET NERVOUS' among others... 'LOOKING FOR A STRANGER' AND 'A LITTLE TOO LATE' are okay but not considered utter masterpieces, in my opinion and the rest I didn't mention are still good... I will probably get major critism over saying this but I like this one better than 'CRIMES OF PASSION'. Aside from the standout song on that album like 'HELL IS FOR CHILDREN, TREAT ME RIGHT AND YOU BETTER RUN' the rest kind of bored me... SORRY!!!!!!!!!! Best albums (in my opinion) from her from 1979-1982 are as follows... #1. IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT...#2. PRECIOUS TIME... #3. GET NERVOUS... #4. CRIMES OF PASSION... Anyways, this album is great so give it a try and you will see it as a change of pace... Pat evolved musically over the years and it's all good... She sings beatiful melodies as well as hard rocking tunes and if YOU REALLY are a fan of hers you will realize she has a darn versatile voice with her released as well as unreleased songs...
