On the Faithbringer CD, the group Star Queen, featuring guitarist Thorbjorn Englund, bassist Erik Torberg (Winterlong) and keyboardist Bob Katsionis join forces with singer/composer Stella Tormanoff to create a highly original sound - gothic epic power metal with plenty of neo-classical overtones.
Faithbringer was produced by Lars Eric Mattsson, with arrangements by both Englund and Mattsson. Englund and Katsionis are both given ample solo space, with Englund offering both amazingly fast single-string lines and wah-wah freakouts along with precise harmony guitar passages. The strong opera vocals from Tormanoff will blow you away - she has quite a unique voice.
