Area 54 formed in 1997. They combine the sound of old-skool rock/metal and modern rock/metal. The band continue to build a very diverse fan base because of this.
Area 54 have released two albums so far 'No Visible Scars' and 'Beckoning Of The End', both of which show a band capable of mixing soft sections with their more thrashy side, but always done with melody and catchy hooks! So far the band have played around the UK, Holland, and Germany.
Area 54 have just cut a new two track demo, and they plan to hit the studio sometime this year to record their third as yet untitled album, followed by a tour.
