Before "metalcore" gained a bigger audience, you've had your share of bands that instigated the genre before. All Out War is one of these bands.
In tracks like "Claim Your Innocence", you can hear some thrash influence a la Slayer. Along with that, the riffage just pulverizes. Also, don't let the fact that it's on Victory records fool you. The label still has a lot of awesome bands IMO, amongst the others making the label commercial, but this was before Victory went commercial.
If you're a fan of bands like Killswitch Engage (mostly old), Hatebreed, Cannae, Cataract, and whatever, then you need this CD! Also check out Nerve Gas Tragedy, the band featuring members of this band.
