Originally released back in 1996 on two separate CDs, the "Archiva" albums are now available as a 2-CD set for the price of a single longplay CD. "Archiva 1 + 2" offers a collection of demos and outtakes taken from the recording sessions for the albums "Aqua", "Aria", and "Arena" - a goldmine for fans.
This special edition of "Archiva 1 + 2" contains a richly illustrated booklet, new liner notes by Dave Gallant (author of the official biography Asia: The Heat Goes On), four bonus tracks - "Anytime" and "Little Rich Boy" were previously available only on CD singles, "Turn It Around (ethnic mix)" had been an exclusive part of a promotion single, and "Open Your Eyes" is a previously unreleased acoustic live track.
