WHAT DOES DISC-EMPYRE OFFER?

Disc-Empyre sources brandnew, genuine factory-pressed music CDs & DVDs from all across the globe. Furthermore we offer a wide selection in both new & used vinyl records, and a section for music-related memoribilia, posters & books.

Please note that some imported CD/DVD items are shipped without plastic wrapping. This is standard packaging process used in many countries outside of the USA. Please be assured that the merchandise you receive is indeed NEW & UNPLAYED (unless otherwise is clearly noted in the listing details).

CAN I SEE YOUR PRICES IN MY LOCAL CURRENCY?

Yes, our store features a currency converter, so you can display our prices in whichever currency you prefer. Below our prices throughout the website you fill find a 'Convert' button, simply click on that and choose the currency you prefer the prices to be displayed in. The currency converter updates worldwide currencies everyday. Please note that your invoice will be billed in USD, and due to the exchange-rate your bank or credit card issuer applies on that given day, there might be a very small descrepancy in the actual amount you will pay in your local currency.

 

 


PAYMENT OPTIONS?

CREDIT CARDS:

We accept all major credit cards. You must choose the 'Paypal' option in the shopping cart if you wish to pay with a credit card, as we are processing all credit cards through Paypal's merchant account service. Your credit card information is transferred to & processed by Paypal via our 128-bit secure encryption (SSL) online ordering system.

 

ONLINE PAYMENT SERVICES:

We accept money transfers from www.PayPal.com , www.Payson.se & www.Moneybookers.com.

If you wish to pay through Payson or Moneybookers, you must choose the 'C.O.D.' option in the shopping-cart. With your order confirmation we will send you additional information on how to pay.

If you wish to pay with a Paypal transfer, you must choose the 'Paypal' option and follow the direct link to Paypal that will be provided.

Your payment must be processed within 8 days from the order date, or the order will automatically cancelled.

 

BANKING:

We accept direct bank-to-bank transfer to our French, Danish or Norwegian bank accounts. You must choose the 'C.O.D.' option in the shopping-cart. With your order confirmation we will send you the necessary bank information in order to pay.

 

WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER:

We accept this payment only for orders over USD 100,-. You must choose the 'C.O.D.' option in the shopping-cart. With your order confirmation we will send you additional information on how to pay using this method.

 

CASH PAYMENT:

We accept cash payment (USD, EUROS, £, SEK, NOK, DKK) sent in a letter. You must choose the 'C.O.D.' option in the shopping-cart. With your order confirmation we will send you additional information on how to pay by mailing in your payment.

Please make sure to send any cash payment by registered mail, as we cannot be liable for loss or theft of mail.

Your postal payment must be received by us within 20 days from the order date, or the order will automatically cancelled.

 

HAS MY ONLINE ORDER BEEN REGISTERED?

When you make an online order you will receive an instant e-mail confirmation from us. This confirmation is generated automatically when your order reaches our system. No confirmation means NO order.

You MUST therefore use a valid and genuine e-mail address that you can actually access. If your confirmation hasn't been received within minutes after confirming your order, please make sure to check your spamfilter. If you still haven't received it, please send us an email at: administration@disc-empyre.com and we'll check the order status for you.


ORDER PROCESSING?

Your order will be confirmed within 24 hours (please allow possible extra time for confirmation during weekends and holidays).

We ship at least 3 times a week. Please review the 'Shipping Policy' page on the storefront for more information on shipping charges & delivery times.


BACKORDERS?

Disc-Empyre do not support backorders at this time. Our stock is updated several times a day and 99.9% of the listed items on the website are available for immediate shipping. If an item has been sold out shortly before you ordered it, we will of course advise you and refund if you have already prepaid your order.

 

WILL YOU KEEP ME UPDATED ON THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Yes, you will receive an immediate order confirmation by email. With your confirmation comes a confirmation number that you can use for checking the order status online.

We will also advise you by email when your order has been shipped. Please review the 'Shipping Policy' page on the storefront for more information on delivery times.

 

HOW OFTEN DO YOU UPDATE THE DISC-EMPYRE WEBSITE? 

We update the web database several times a day, and many new items are added on a daily basis. Make sure to bookmark us and check back frequently to keep updated with all the new great items!

 

CAN I ORDER ITEMS NOT IN YOUR ONLINE CATALOGUE?

Yes you can, but not via the online system. We have access to tens of thousands of titles across the globe and there is a very good chance that we can get what you are looking for. Special Orders are one-way traffic and cannot be cancelled once placed. To request a quote on special orders, please send us an email at: customerservice@disc-empyre.com


RETURN POLICY?

Returns:

By EU law you have the right to withdraw from your purchase if the products you wish to return are in the exact same condition as when you received them.

Returned products must be in unused, undamaged condition in the original sealed wrapping. Returned products must include the packing slip (or a copy thereof). Please write the cause for your return on the back of the slip. Products returned are at your own expense unless we made an error when processing your order.

Per industry standard we can not accept ANY returns on vinyl items.

Please note that you must contact us before sending back any returns. You will be issued a return authorization number. Please include this number with any correspondence. Goods returned without an authorization code will NOT be credited. 

Returns must be requested within 21 days of the invoice date.


Complaints:

We guarantee that the products you order are in the stated condition on delivery. Should you by accident receive defective product or a wrong delivery, we ask you to please contact our order-service immediately at:

HOW DO YOU GRADE VINYL RECORDS?

All our use vinyl-items are graded using the following standard:

MINT: Brandnew and unplayed, straight as it was delivered from the factory

NEAR MINT: Virtually unplayed, no visible wear

MINT-: Minor surface wear that shouldn't affect play much

VG+++: A bit worse

VG++: A bit worse yet

VG+: A bit worse yet

VG: Serious scuffs or scratches that will definitely affect play of the record

All our vinyl items comes graded VISUALLY under strong light, according to the guide listed above.

Per industry standard we can not accept ANY returns on vinyl items.
